We have joined together with Seaview Yacht Club to offer a RIB ferry service transferring their guests to and from Gunwharf Quays to the Club.

 

Every year Sea View Yacht Club, home of the Seaview Mermaids charter fleet, welcomes over 2,000 guest sailors who delight in racing the fleet of 13 identical Mermaid 26-foot keelboats. The boats are of a classic ‘Solent’ design, but of modern construction and, with a selection of rig options, are ideal for highly-skilled sailors or beginners alike.

 

Your clients, your management team or other guests will enjoy an exceptional yacht racing or cruising experience, followed by first-rate onshore hospitality. They provide the boats, the sailing race courses, necessary race officials and boatmen who ensure your sailing experience is professionally delivered. Experienced helms from Sea View Yacht Club can also act as skippers for less-experienced charterers. The clubhouse offers full catering and business meeting facilities.

  • Or just cruise around the Solent at your leisure

  • All sailing is within sight of the Clubhouse

 

Racing packages start on the Sea View Yacht Club’s deck with a briefing to all guests which covers the vital safety issues. Helms will be invited to the race deck to view the flag and gun signals and agree the day’s format with the race officer. The crews will then be ferried to their Mermaids. It is usually possible to get in three morning and two afternoon races, sometimes more, over a variety of courses.

 

Should you wish to get out on the water whilst the Mermaids are racing, our RIB is also available for rib charters or just viewing the mermaids from the water.
